The Embassy of Ukraine in Lithuania has announced an extraordinary exhibition entitled
"From Helsinki to Kyiv: Back to the Future", which will take place on 27 March at 14:00 at the Ukrainian Centre in Vilnius.
This event promises to be a real cultural celebration that will reveal the secrets of
of the formation of new modern states in Europe in the era from the Baltic to the Black Sea in 1917-1918. The exhibition marks the joint efforts of the historical institutes of seven countries, including Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany and Ukraine.
An important point is the cooperation with the Member of the European Parliament,
Professor Ludas Mažilis, who emphasises the special significance of the event, particularly on the eve of Lithuania's 20th anniversary of NATO membership. Professor Majilis emphasises the importance of a comparative analysis of the development of the countries of the region and its impact on the current political realities.
The exhibition has already received recognition, having been shown in the European
Parliament in Brussels, and now for the first time in Lithuania.
Entrance to the event is free and the presentation will be held in English.
