A thousand to teachers: The Cabinet of Ministers announced a monthly supplement to teachers from January 2025

As Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported on the Telegram channel , the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to introduce monthly supplements for Ukrainian teachers.

According to the innovation, from January 1, 2025, teachers will receive a monthly teacher's allowance of 1,000 hryvnias per hand in addition to their basic salary.

In the future, from September 1, 2025, this surcharge will increase to 2,000 hryvnias per hand.

This decision, Shmyhal noted, is part of the government's support for educators who teach and educate young people, despite the challenges associated with the state of war in the country.
