Assault attacks along the entire front line: Russians press with infantry in the Selidove area

The enemy is intensively storming the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Pokrovskoye direction, blocking important transport routes, which creates a threat to the operational encirclement of the Ukrainian military, in particular in the Selidove area.

This was reported in a comment to LIGA.net by the spokesman for the National Guard, Ruslan Muzychuk.

Selidove, a strategically important defensive point on the way to Pokrovskoye. The enemy troops are accumulating infantry units to attack in groups of 5-7 people.

Assaults are taking place every 20-30 minutes without the support of armored vehicles. The enemy is moving through forest belts.

Russian forces have significantly intensified artillery shelling, they are aimed at supporting assault operations. In the last 24 hours alone, the number of artillery attacks in this direction has increased to 559, which is three times more than in the spring.

The enemy is concentrating its main forces south of Selidove, especially in the area of ​​Tsukuryne. Over the past day, Russian troops have launched 13 attacks on Ukrainian military positions.

However, our guys are holding their defenses with dignity. The National Guard destroyed 307 Russian soldiers: 157 occupiers were killed, the rest were wounded.

Ukrainian forces managed to destroy several units of enemy equipment: one tank, four armored vehicles, eight cars, as well as two electronic warfare (EW) stations and two ammunition depots.

Against the background of constant assaults, the Russian side is actively using electronic warfare (EW) means, which significantly complicates the work of Ukrainian drones.

However, drone operators are constantly adapting to new conditions and continue to effectively perform aerial reconnaissance tasks and destroy enemy targets.
